The vineyard, a 15 acre estate, enjoys a climate ideal for grape growing. It features a stony and sandy-loam soil. With fully southern exposure, the estate is overlooking the valley of Isle, providing excellent conditions for grape growing.
Grape varieties are Cabernet
Sauvignon (30%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and
Merlot Noir (45%).A cut in short cords is practiced on the vines in order to obtain a balanced repartition of the grapes.
No chemical weed-killers, fertilizers, insecticides or artificial fungicides is used. Only natural products in compliance with organic farming rules are allowed: natural insoluble minerals, organic compost and sulfur. Farming techniques are mechanical, never chemical. During harvest, in order to avoid bruising the fruit, grapes are collected by hand, and manually selected to obtain low yields and quality. Agriculture and vinification are realized in compliance with traditional and organic farming rules.
